I want to create a window front with some broken glas. First I created a panel with 3 windows, a put the panel in a cloner
Each of the window is child of a voronoi. As you can imagine all clones have exactly the same fracture
I use as Source of the Voronoi a Point Generator. I tried to drive the Seed with a Xpresso, but no way to get the ID of the cloner.
Any Idea?
I know also if I get it done, Ill need to find a way to randomly eliminate one of the Voronoi Fragments

So if somebody has another revolutionary Idea

Thank you

The culture of Maxon-One is simple: Everyone can be the person they like to be, and choosing a name is part of that. We just had a meeting in Europe, with around 250 people joining. It was a fantastic and energizing event.

My doctoral work is about computer simulation, specifically filmic aspects of architectural animation and how they may or may not manipulate the virtual experience of the object in question. While living in Germany, I wrote it while the doctor (in my case, Doctor of Scientific Engineering) is part of the name and even entered the Passport. My other degrees are not seen on that level. (drsassi.com)

Since I live on the West Coast of the USA, I have heard different ways that are seen here. But also, to get my new Passport here, I used the artist name I have since "ever" and placed it as my official first name.

So, I am known under Dr. Sassi, and even most colleagues here use it. We respect each other, and everyone can create their own "space" for themselves. I love that freedom and the respect we have for each other.

I enjoy having that same vibe here in the Forum, and I like to support everyone in any aspect that makes them happy and seen. I surely want to support anyone reaching their full artistic potential, even if it is mostly helping with the tools.
I might sometimes miss a point, but that has a little bit to do with the fact that we are not in the same room. But I try to keep up

So, long story short, THANK YOU so much for asking.

Have a lovely weekend.

So either way is right.

I’ll try your proposal. But at the end I think I’ll go the “editable “ to allow me the artistic way of removing the one or the other to have the effect of broken Glas.
Again thank you

Yes, selecting a single fragment is excluded here.

You could make the cloner editable, providing you with many Voronoi Fracture setups. Now, single "chunks" can be excluded.

I also explored using a checkerboard pattern and set a whole group under Voronoi Fracture objects. To avoid making "cut-lines) the checkerboard pattern requires two setups.

Example
CV4_2024_drs_24_MGvb_21.c4d

The number of Point Source data needs to be increased.

Those cubes might be Clones and then used with a Voronoi Fracture.

Let me know if that fits or if you need something else.

Cheers

thank you so much. Yes it works the same in my model.
Hope that now il find a way to eliminate here and there a fracture

Is this working for you?

CV4_2024_drs_24_MGvb_01.c4d

I have for the window front two Voronoi Fracture objects, and only their Seed is different.

The Cloner is set to "Blend". In this way, each clone has a different seed.

All the best
