I’m using R25,121<br />
I’m trying to make a dynamic string that has an ornament attached at the end of it.<br />
Ideally I would like the whole set-up to be dynamic, meaning the torus at the end of the string and the ornament will react to one another, I have tried a tutorial that uses dynamic chains and I thought I could modify it to be a string (see DB link)<br />
It kinda works, but only when I reset the playhead back to 0 (see image link)<br />

I know in 2023 there is a new rope simulation included, but is this possible in R25?</p>

<p dir="auto">I have simplified the setup and replaced the cubes with a proxy chain element.</p>
<p dir="auto">There is usually an option to use a proxy object to have a more detailed model visible, but not used as the dynamic base.</p>
<p dir="auto">My suggestion here is either cache the solution and replace then the parts or use after caching the Matrix (or a new Cloner) object and use the cached dynamic to drive the detailed version.</p>
<p dir="auto">I have used the Ornament Sphere here as a Clone, while it is placed based on Cloner&gt; Sort and Plaineffector&gt; Modify Clones (driven by a MoGraph Selection.</p>
<p dir="auto">You might like to adjust the project Settings&gt; Dynamics&gt; Steps.</p>
