<p dir="auto">I’m trying to use the new advanced distribution options in a cloner to make a floor from a set of 3 different size tile shapes. Ideally I want them to neatly organise next to each other with no gap in between (a bit like the stack distribution) but I’m struggling to find any documentation on how I might achieve this. I would like to use this with random placement to create an uneven look.</p>
<p dir="auto">I need this to work with a cloner to allow me to use effectors with it.</p>
<p dir="auto">Each tile will be the same width and the length will be a multiple of the smallest one, e.g. 10cm, 15cm, 20cm.</p>

<p dir="auto">Unfortunately I'm unable to upload a scene file or image of the scene file. I'm being told I don't have the correct privileges when I try.  Essentially what I had placed was a layout like this: https://media.tarkett-image.com/large/TH_LVT_iD_Inspiration_Random_Stone_Grey.jpg</p>
<p dir="auto">I've been having a think about the logic, essentially I would want the distribution to fill a set distance (100x100cm for example) with a random assortment of the tiles at random 90 degree angles (like your dice tutorial).  Then it would loop back over itself and fill the gaps between tiles with XL tiles if they fit, then loop back again and fill with Large tiles, and again and again until every space between the tiles is filled.</p>
<p dir="auto">Essentially packing the desired size with the tiles and leaving no gaps.</p>
<p dir="auto">This behaviour is similar to the stack distribution that ships with c4d but instead of stacking in one direction it completely fills in x and z directions.</p>
<p dir="auto">Through manually placing the tiles I realised I would actually need 5 sizes to allow for every single gap to be filled. For example in my scene:</p>
<p dir="auto">20x10cm, 15x10cm, 10x10cm, 5x5cm</p>
<p dir="auto">I'm confident it's possible using a distribution node but I am unsure how to go about setting it up.</p>

One part is the execution of this setup, but the most important part is the logic. How would the tiles fit next to each other?<br />
You need to be able to explain how that logic would work by making some sample manual setups and writing an overview of what you want it to do.<br />
If you provide a scene file with some examples and write an explanation of the logic, I will give it a show and maybe make a tutorial.</p>
