<p dir="auto">That sounds very annoying, but I can't reproduce this here; I would need a file to get your problem. With that, I can file a report. Perhaps find an individual workaround.</p>

<p dir="auto">I understand it should provide an Outline selection even if nothing is selected. (Going by the old suggestion, if nothing is selected, everything is selected. The manual doesn't state that.</p>
<p dir="auto">Could you please check if this works:</p>
<p dir="auto">Select all polygons, just one, then use Select Connected.<br />
Then use the Outline Selection function.<br />
Is this working, or is there trouble at one point?</p>
