How to make crumpled paper

As the tutorials I've found so far doesn't really give the expression I'm looking for, I'm wondering if anyone here would like to give some ideas on how they would make a crumpled paper. Sort of non-uniform fold and organic wrinkles, textured like a paper. Many tutorials I've come across are really old and not up to date with the program today.
