Remote Desktop Connection - Scroll Speed

hi.
when using Remote Desktop Connection on Windows I am having an issue where the scroll speed in the GUI on C4D is erratic - in the Viewport and in any other place where clicking and dragging is a function.

when using other remote services such as Parsec, this is not the case. I prefer the connectivity and image quality of Remote Desktop Connection on Windows over Parsec.

can I be advised by anyone on how I might be able to change settings in either C4D or RDC to correct this behavior to more closely mimic what I am getting in Parsec?
