      Hello there,

This is my first post after just joining this discussion, so please forgive me and provide kind assistance if I have posted to the wrong subsection.

I am new here but a real enthusiast and loving this community so far. I have a background in teaching coding and in music and feel I could help with documentation, at least for starters.

As a new member in this forum and wish to share and gain some knowledge. I am looking forward to create my own discussion to resolve my query and gain some knowledge though I have taken part in various discussion which is definitely helped me a lot.

Also in what category should be taken depends on what factors?

      Thankyou in advance.

        Hi glad-cash,

The main forum is the Q&A, more a problem and Answer forum, people come to solve problems, often creative problems and how to translate them into a set up.

When you love coding, please check out the Developer Café
        https://developers.maxon.net/forum/
Cineversity is not the place for that.

The documentation is in the hands of the documentation team
Perhaps watch the Careers page; we have very defined structures here for documentation, with a great QA setup.
        https://www.maxon.net/en/about-maxon/careers

As the name suggests, the site issue forum is for site issues only. If you have problems accessing the other forums here, for example, the Site Issue forum would be the right place to ask why you have no access.

If you want to help, please answer with a small example file, not from memory. Things change, and a file often tells a better story than suggestions that have worked in the past. People who ask often have a deadline, and a non-working suggestion takes even more time, which is not fun. One theme per forum thread is Maxon's idea to keep things searchable and readable.

As you might have noticed, I like to keep it friendly here. So far, I read this from your post.

This is not something we like to have for any artist to endure.
It would be best to attach the reply in a file below 1MB in the forum. Otherwise, the preferred cloud service is DropBox. (Adobe, Apple, Googele or Wetransfer works as weel) We do not allow code examples in this forum or other cloud or download services for security reasons.

If you focus on code, explore the link above; please note it in Cineversity. As security is essential, any entries with code will be deleted. As posts and attachments can be swapped out, it is impossible to have an eye on that. I can't do that here.

        Cheers

            Hi glad-cash,

As mentioned - the Q&A forum is for questions.

Each forum has some sticky notes with information about each forum.

            All the best
