      Hello there,

I have been working with Redshift for about a year now and have recently started taking on more complex projects. Although, I have been running into some performance issues and could use some advice from the community here.

My current project involves a high number of polygons, intricate lighting setups, and several particle simulations, and it is really testing the limits of my current workflow.

My render times have increased significantly. I have optimized my materials and reduced texture sizes where possible, but I am still seeing long render times. Does anyone have tips on specific Redshift settings that could help improve this?

I have noticed that my GPU memory is maxing out frequently. I’m currently using an RTX 3090. What are some strategies for managing memory usage more effectively? Are there certain settings or workflow adjustments that can help alleviate this issue?

I have several area lights and a few HDRI maps in my scene. Are there best practices for lighting in Redshift that could help reduce render times without compromising quality?

My scene includes a couple of particle simulations created with X-Particles. They seem to be adding a lot to my render times. Any tips on optimizing particle simulations for Redshift?

Also, I have gone through this link:
https://cineversity.forums.maxon.net/category/2/devops/question-answers?lang=en-US&page=25 which definitely helped me out a lot.

Any other general advice for optimizing Redshift performance with complex scenes would be greatly appreciated. I am particularly interested in workflow tips or lesser-known settings that can make a big difference.

Thankyou in advance for your help and assistance.

        Hi glad-cash,

Please do not use the Site Issue forum for Q&A content. As mentioned, if you have problems getting access, this is the site issue forum for.

I hope that can be fixed for you in no time.

There is also this weeks Ask The Trainer, where you can discuss this live

Questions can be asked also before the streaming:
