Thank you! It turns out that the cloth tag is not affected by the project time scale - the only way to go around is to use soft body instead... As for 2023-1 unfortunately I cannot use it - I am on a 2021 Intel imac, so the only redshift that I can use is 3.0.57 (any version after produces terrible artifacts due to some bug with AMD video cards used in the iMacs), and in turn it doesn't work with C4D2023... so I am stuck with R25... But no matter- I think i can make it work with the soft body tag instead of cloth...

Slowing down Cloth Sim
I am on C4D R25 - So I ran into this frustrating problem. I am trying to make a photorealistic 60fps animation of a flag, billowing in the wind.
I've set up a plane with sufficient subdivisions and a cloth tag, then I disabled all the built in cloth tag forces and set up my own wind forces. pinned all the necessary places, however, I cannot preview the animation at the correct FPS no matter what - the viewer plays back at a very slow fps no matter what I do. So i my only option is to render the whole thing out just to see how it actually plays... But this is not all, I can now see that in real time the animation is far too fast and i need to slow it down - I tried doing it using the time scale option in the project settings, and it is not working. Nomatter what setting I put there it does not affect the preview or the render. Finally all the help files Maxon provides talk about values from 0-1 however the default setting there is 100% and I have no idea how to actually use it or whether it is working at all...
Please help me!
