RE: Pyro // Having smoke form into an object
Thank you for your help, Dr. Sassi! I am diving into the project you sent and dissecting it now. It looks like you're using a spline as fuel, which is an option I hadn't considered, so I'll explore that.
Both the youtube links you included are about creating Pyro killboxes, is that what you meant to send for both of them? -
Pyro // Having smoke form into an object
Hey Everyone!
Messing around with the new pyro stuff and loving it. I'm wanting to have smoke rise up from the bottom of a screen and form into words for a second or two, then dissipate. It's relatively easy to use the text as a volume emitter and to form the text in place, then have it dissipate, but I'm having trouble figuring out having the smoke form into the letters.
I've tried messing around with attractors and field forces with no luck, but my understanding of how those simulation forces work is not that deep. Has anyone figure out how to do this yet?
