Okay, this seems to happen only when I save the image with layers and alpha channel. I am doing that because I have a Puzzle Matte AOV.
If I just save the image without checking Layers, the colors match the render view.

Hi,
I've noticed my images are rendering out differently in the latest 2025 version vs 2024.
At some point I had to change my color management settings in order to get redshift ot render pure white.
Here are my settings in 2024
Here are the settings in 2025 for the same file (originally created in 2024)
For now, I'm going to go back to 2024 but I'll need to figure out why this is happening going forward
Hi
Just getting back to this. I kind of gave up because I just couldn't get it working. Don't think it had anything to do with the LKP 3Cyc Plus. It's just a cyc I added to the scene. I deleted that and the lights and got the same results. I even started over from scratch and the same thing happened. Caching the particles produces the same results---the orientation of the animation changes and plays backwards.
I was able to open your file and see that it worked, but not on my own. I see you've hidden everything and there is a Connect. Not sure how you did that. I was going to just copy that into a new file that but then I don know how to add textures to that after the fact.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. After caching the particle group, the animation moves to the left out of frame, plays backwards (from bottom to top instead off top to bottom) and and the clones lose their random rotation (all oriented exactly the same).
I was starting at frame 10 bc that's about when they came into frame. I was just trying to skip rendering 9 blank images
These are the buttons I'm clicking to cache
Thanks so much. I got that part working.
Now I'm having some trouble with rendering. I was rendering to mp4, but the number of clones in the render is not matching the scene. It's as if the particle emitter stops emitting particles. I read something about caching the particle group but is behaving strangely as well. Once it is cached the animation moves out frame and plays in reverse...I have to undo a few times to fix it
I am trying to create an animation where a bunch of "pills" are animated along a helix spline. I am using a basic emitter, cloner, and follow spline. I have it kind of working, but they only follow the spline if I have the mode set to Rail (not a big deal but I don't understand what thats the only way it works...otherwise the clones/particles just fall)
My main question is how can I make them not intersect with each other? Right now they are jumbling up in clumps. I tried adding a rigid body tag, but then all the clones just fall ( I can't figure out how to turn off gravity).
Insanely I can't upload any images to show what I'm talking about because this system keeps saying the dimensions are too big no matter what I do
