      Hello,

      I hope you fine.

First, I'm only aivalable to open a new topic in this section.

Here is my real problem, I freshly update R23 to C4D 2023.2.0

When I Open the soft, my last project open automatiquely with "Untitled 1", If I close it, it's create "Untitled 2". The problem is my file is super heavy like 3GB and I lag like hell.

If I create I new file, it goes untitled 3 with the same file.

Do you have this issue too ?

      Regards

        Hi stretch-equal,

I leave this question here until your access problem is cleared.

Then I move it to the Q&A.,
This sounds like the new.c4d file contains this large scene.

The fastest way would be to find that file. Open the Preferences in the left lower corner: Open Preference Folder.
It should open the Folder with the new.C4D file. Delete that file.

Another way is, when the file opens the 3GB again, delete the scene file and use the
Windows> Customization> Save as Default Scene.
This will create a fresh "new.c4d" file, and whatever the setting for the scene will be stored in that. For example, you like to open a scene away with a Dome light in it, then leave a Dome Light in it before you use the: Save as Default Scene.

I hope that solves it for you.

        Enjoy your weekend
