      Hi,
I placed a logo on a cup and connected the objects. Everything was displayed correctly, but when I looked at the FBX file again in Windows 3d viewer it was incorrect. Polygons reconnected where there should be no polygons. However, when I import this FBX file back into Cinema 4D, the object looks normal. What could be the reason for this?

I hope you can help me!
      Thanks and greetings

      Kevin!

        Hi Kevin Denis,

        Images tell me very little.

This leaves guessing, and that takes your time with uncertain results, perhaps. I love to have the project files here; then, I can hopefully tell more.

(Files reduced to the problem, if not over 1MB, can be attached here as ".c4d" files. Otherwise, please only use DropBox, Google, Adobe, Apple, or Wetransfer. Thank you!)

Having said that, could it be that your text has N-Gons in use?

Please keep in mind that FBX is an old format. It was created by Filmbox a long time ago to transfer "bones" (joints) and meshes.

        All the best

          Thanks for Help!
Sorry, but I am not allowed to give out the file.
But the tip with N-Gons has brought me the solution.
I have converted the font and now the export works.
