      Hello everybody,

is there a way to make clones on splines pointing in the direction of normals?

I have a model made out of polygones. There are splines for the mesh.
I cloned cones on the splines. Now the cones point in random directions. They should point only outside like the normals of the base mesh do.

Unfortunately I cannot upload screenshot or files here.
You can find the cinema file here:

        Hi Franz,

You posted in the site issue forum but didn't ask anything about access problems.
If you have any problems asking questions in the Q&A forum, please clear your access to post in the C&A; thank you very much.

The Site issue forum is not the place for Application questions.

What you need is a Rail Spline.

          Hi Dr. Sassi,

thank you very much for your solution.
I know that I posted it in the wrong forum but I couldn't figure out how to fix that yet.

          I have another question.
How did you create that rail spline?

Thank you very much for your support.

            Hi Franz,

In the past two months, I would have expected to see a post on the site issues to ask for clearing access.

Please do not continue to use this Site Issue forum for Q&A questions.

I hope the access is fixed ASAP, and I will happily see you on the Q&A forum.

            Cheers
