      Hi all,

I am attempting to remove an area light's refection in a backdrop mesh.

What I have tried to do...
1- Place the Backdrop in the Exclusion section of the light (Rim Left). This did not seem to work.
2- Use the Composite tag on the light and de-select Seen by Refection.

Not sure if this is possible. I like the text reflection on the Backdrop floor but not the area light reflection.

      Any help would be appreciated.

        Hi bootle-steak,

        Thanks for the file!

I place the BackDrop into the Rim Right>Project> Exclude, and it is gone.
What stays is the result of the Flare.

        Is that helping?

        Cheers

          Hi Dr. Sassi,

Interesting... Yep that seems to work on my end as well. Not sure what I was doing wrong last time.
Thank you for looking at this for me.
