How to decuple water drops condensation shader

Hi,
See this material provided in the library. I don't have the slightest idea how to do this. There must be some reason for everything that is happening. It is a great learning opportunity to use advanced setups.
Thanks

Hi Ricardo,
Please have a look here:
https://stcineversityprod02.blob.core.windows.net/$web/Cineversity_Forum_Support/2024_PROJECTS_DRS/CV4_2024_drs_24_RSdr_01.jpgI have sorted the nodes a little bit for educational purposes.
All the main input nodes are now on the left. Please note that this is not procedural; it is based on textures. Download the material, apply it to an object in the scene, and "Save Project with Assets, then take a look in the tex folder.
The main setup is done in the larger "green" Group Setting Node. Here, the size options are crucial.
Two significant things are happening here; one is that the whole setup is targeting a Triplanar projection. Which might not be needed for a Can, but it shouldn't hurt.
Then, you have more exemplary tuning nodes in the middle field, e.g., Color Correct nodes, to set up different behaviors.
If you don't use a Glass Pane, meaning just using a Plane of a Cylinder, perhaps switch to a Thin wall, but that will limit refraction if no displacement is set up (RS Object Tag> Geometry).
I hope that helps to get your exploration started.
All the best

Hi Sassi,
Thanks for the introduction; it was a start, but there is so much going on behind this. At least for a beginner.
I'd love to see some of the trainees setting up this from scratch on a webinar. There is so much to learn, IMO.My best wishes

Thanks for the feedback, Ricardo, which helps me to suggest this series:

Elly goes carefully through the Nodes, and next week is the next Episode:

During that show, you can ask questions, and perhaps you might be up to speed with these Nodes in no time.Enjoy
