Render Mask in Redshift?

Hey,
we are transitioning to Redshift from V-Ray.
V-Ray has this near function to use a Object as a Render Mask, so when I enable this and select a object only this object will be rendered.Is there something in Redshift? RS Object isnt really the effect that I need because I have to overly a fixed geometry on a PNG and RS Object (Visibility overrides) gives me all of the geometry and not only the visible part.

It has been a while since I had Vray training (a decade or so ago); if there is interest, I will go through some FXPHD.com training to ease your transition. I'm happy to do that.
Of course, it will not match completely, but I hope I can find workarounds. Below are two options to get closer to the Render Mask.

CV4_2024_drs_24_RSrm_01.c4dWe can initially have only Tags to create a Selection Object, so one object needs to be included and then deleted; sorry about that.
Then, you can select all and set them to the result you would like to have, and after that, select only the object in question and reset the Tag.
I know missing functionality is annoying when transitioning to a different Render; I hope a faster solution can be provided soon.

One more thing, if you don't mind, is that if I "read" the images from the Vray manual correctly, they do not consider other objects during the Render mask. If that is correct, there might be a faster way.
The Material Overwrite can be used to turn all Objects into the same material, which could also be just a dull black material. (Or anything to describe the idea; I keep it with the black; even mid-gray seems more plausible)The materials of your object can be excluded from the overwrite. The switch is a click in the Render Settings. Then, set up another one you work on, etc.
