(thought it would be easier to have all in one. No worries).

So the cache drive ran out of space. Would be more polite to just report that than to crash the program. Might I put that in the suggestion box?
      Thanks.

      Hi recording-team,

Please only one theme per thread. Please find below two links with additional information.

The Cinema 4D crash reports are in the "_bugreports" folder.
Go to Main Menu> Edit> Preferences, then the left lower button: Open Preference Folder.

Since you got no "Send Report" alert during re-opening, it is most likely that there is not anything from the last report.

Depending on your OS, files might be outside Cinema 4D, which is also outside my scope.

If you don't like to update to 2025 right now, use at least the latest 2024.5.1.

        Hi recording-team,

I asked for future threads, not to add extra work onto your plate. Thanks for understanding.

The reason for the split of threads based on different themes is readability and better search results. In the past, some threads went through a whole project, or people added something and again. The text got too long and worthless for anyone looking for a short and clear answer.

Yes, please share that idea with Maxon: "Share your Ideas." Very much appreciated!

        .
The only problem I see is that in any animation, like with Pyro or Particles, etc., the next frame can have a huge number of new data based on new settings. Using the average from the previous frames is not helping, and stopping early because of too large security settings might stop caches that would fit on a disk.
The only way I see it is to have an overflow disk (Like Adobe has it). It is not a simple task to answer all possible options, e.g., precalculate will slow things down.

If you have any ideas, please add them. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I'll have a few new queries today and you can let me know if any are out of your purview. Thanks again.

Yes, recording- team, if they are about "how to do it", I hope I can help; if it needs a change of application code, then tech support is the place to go.
If it is a bug, also tech support, but we can look into it if there is a workaround for a specific use.

            Cheers
