Wondering if there's a pdf of the Cinema 4D User Guide available for download? I'm training an AI currently and this would be very useful.

        Hi _carsonjones,

I will forward this; if there is anything possible regarding Ai, I will update the thread here.

I'm not aware that any of our content is allowed in any way or form for any AI training content.

Please check with Maxon about it. This would need a C-Level approval.

Open a tech support ticket to get the needed information.

Besides, there is no PDF; the idea is to keep things updated, which is impossible with downloaded PDFs.

        All the best

So the reason for wanting the PDF version of the user guide is so that I can upload it to a custom GPT via Chat GPT and use my Cinema 4D GPT as a way accessing the data while I'm working in C4D. It's much faster and easier to ask the GPT a technical question about C4D and have it locate and provide the necessary info from within the GPT chat. Having to do this manually in the Maxon site version of the user guide is slow and much less efficient. That's a great reason to have the user guide provided as a PDF imo.

            Hi _carsonjones,

Please understand that this is not my part to solve nor should I.

Learning and AI are all over the place (starting as early as 1950). I have read even a pile of books in the past year about the current options, but it is not as simple, as AI is very much undefined. We have very little idea how material is used and distributed by AI outside of its users' reach. After all, the documentation is IP and should not be used by anyone other than Maxon to train AI.

For example, one could say, I train my AI on the Asset Browser Content, while the models or their ideas become part of the global memory of AI, which is more clear that it is not an option.

As long as all of that is unclear and would put customers in legal jeopardy, I will not be responsible for problems that are beyond my area of expertise.

I will not proceed since I am not interested in giving you the legal advice required to fully answer that request.

This was already clear to me, so I shared that we don't have a PDF for various reasons.

Please check with tech support if they have a specific idea for it.

            Cheers
