I am pulling out my hair trying to understand how to do this. I have a helix on the xy axis. all I want to do, is move the points of the spline in an arc in 3D space on the z axis and have the other points follow to create a smooth transition to the destination. right now all I can do is try to edit the points one by one which is irritating. soft selection doesn't work.

      Help!

          Hi Boo Boo Chicken,

I know you had access before, please open a new thrad here to get this fixed. The Site Issue is not a back door for help, for various reasons. Thank you.

There is no soft selection for splines. Which would include the Bezier Handles, which might be altered and how to proceed then keep broken handles, different length, etc.

          Here is my suggestion

          1. Switch to B-Spline:
Ensure your spline type is set to B-Spline for smoother curves and control points.

          2. Expand Selection:
Use the shortcut U~Y multiple times to expand the selection of spline points.

          3. Move Selected Points:
In Move mode, make the initial small adjustment by pulling the selected points.

          4. Reduce Selection:
Use the shortcut U~K to reduce the selection back gradually.

          5. Repeat:
Continue alternating between reducing the selection (U~K) and making slight adjustments to the points in Move mode until you achieve the desired effect.

          Cheers
