We are having a difficult time matching a silk fabric's reflections in redshift. The reflections look plasticy unless we get into using the metal slider....and still not quite sure what settings are appropriate (if metallic is appropriate at all)....and we can't find any info on making a realistic silk in redshift. Here
's an example image of what we want to match:8UCc7y71Fq-small.jpg

        Hi nasty-command,

I know the differences between silk and satin, but perhaps the Asset Browser helps with the search term "Satin".

The key is certainly to have Sheen into the mix.

Use an OpenEXR HDRI in the Dome light, preferably one of the newer items of the Asset Browser. Without proper light, these kinds of fabric will not work well.

        Cheers
