So my workflow in creating characters and character rigs has always been to create Post Deformer Pose Morphs and use the Mesh Brush to move the geometry around. (Creating muscle bulges, fixing elbow and knee creases, etc). But now when I move the pose morph around with the brush it starts getting really buggy and wacky. For instance, if I select off of the new pose and back on it, my geometry will shoot off into space. As of recently, it DID NOT happen if I use my move tool to move the geometry around with some soft selection. This method really doesnt flow well with the "sculpting" style of fixing geometry. But very recently (in the last few days) now this methond results in the same crazy result. I'd love any kind of help. I've always learned everything by researching and finding answers in forums or youtube vids but I can't find any reference to this problem. Again, it used to work and its how I've worked for several years. Suddenly, several jobs and characters in to big projects and it's not working on any of them.!

      Hi champion-setting,

I set up some joints, animated those, and then used the PoseMorph with the Magnet. I felt all settings were the same as when using the Magnet, except I went from Edit to Animate afterwards.

Let me know if that causes also problems.

      I used 2024.4

      CV4_2024_drs_24_CApm_11.c4d

You could also explore a copy of the model and use it as an external source for the Magnet/Meshwork.

      All the best
