      Hey
I was wondering, is there a way to connect the render range to a marker?

So my cam_70 is from range 100-200, my marker is at this range and the rendersetting automatically changes the rendersettings of cam_70 to be in the same range as my marker?

Would be a gamechanger for sure.

        Hi MAVEO,

What you want is what Jonas discusses here, but instead of Short Cuts (manually), you want this to be set automatically. Correct?

I agree that there is no automatic so far, but that would be an interesting suggestion if a shortcut is too much or to place the icon into the interface.
You can submit your suggestion here: (Share your Ideas!)

If that feature is discussed, one input would be: If accidentally on, the overnight rendering might be wrong. What would be your idea to prevent this?

        Cheers

          No exactly.
My idea would be that within the Render Settings, we have the Frame Range. This Range would automatically be set by a marker in my timeline. So I can say for example: Marker cam_10 starts at the timeline at frame 1 and ends at frame 39. So the Frame Range within the render settings would take this information directly from the marker. So in case I would need to change the range, I would only adjust the marker without having to change the Frame Range in the Render Setting manually.

My opening post was a bit confusing sorry 😄

Thanks for the extra effort, MAVEO.

I hope your suggestion will lead to the results at one point that you would like to have from using the "Share Your Idea" option to get this functionality.

Here in this forum, we can discuss those things, and I will do my best to support those wishes, but you need to place them into the "system" first".

My tip is to write why that would be a productivity push for you, preferably which "industry" you are in. The more the developer knows, the more likely they can see its advantage.

            My best wishes
