Hi Jonas,
I followed this wonderful tutorial verbatim, but my cloth object does not fall through the hole. I tried playing with the geometry of the hole, the cloth (plane), the gravity, but unless I make the hole really really big, my cloth does nothing but that initial slump depression in the hole. I really want to recreate this project but I'm stuck. Any pointers or obvious issues. I'm using R2023 on a Mac Studio M1 Max. I have Greyscale Gorilla Plus installed if for some reason that matters.

Hi Paul,
If Jonas had his laptop with him that day, I assume he worked on an M1 Max MBP. I have tried to reproduce it on the same model and also checked different releases. Somehow I run into the same problems as I believe you do.
Please set up everything as he does (Leave Gravity as is for now), but try to increase the Sphere Field; that did the trick here.
Here is my "follow along" file; while having also explored all options, I assume that Sphere Field adjustment is the way to go.CV4_2023_drs_23_SIch_11.c4d

If your problem is not solved, please share your file here. I'm happy to look into it, and if needed, ask Jonas directly next week.
I found to rotate the Torus a little bit (R.H, animated) allows for better folding. My best wishes
