macros/actions recording in C4D ?

Hi
Is it possible to record macros in C4D, like actions in Photoshop?
I work mostly with imported CAD-data and with that I have to do some simple UV-editing over and over again.
A one button solution would be a great time saver.

Hi kolodzick,

There is not a simple Action Script like in Photoshop.

As a rough rule of thumb, I would say if you can't put it in shortcuts, chances are low that there is an option to automate this. It's not an absolute rule but a guide.

Please have a look at the Script View. Clear it before you do that specific step in the UV editor and see if that is recorded. I checked a few, and UV commands, for example, are not part of it.
But if your steps lead to a record, you can copy and paste it into the Script Manager, save it, and create a shortcut.
