Loft - Rounded Caps problem
-
Hi everyone!
My first post!
I have a problem with the rounding of the caps with a Loft object.
When the shape at the top is flat/parallel to the ground, the caps are OK:
When I rotate the last shape at the top (which I need to do) the rounded edges of the caps are doing this weird shift to one direction
Could anyone help me with that?
Thanks!

Hi J.,
Please have a look here:
I have replaced the Caps with some Splines and allowed them to be adjusted in any way possible. I have marked those with color chips (layers), so if you need to adjust them as a group, select all of them.
Thanks for the images, but I need a project file to see the setup. Images have very little information.
The caps will work based on the ends or start spline. If you need to change the shapes, one suggestion would be to use deformers.
All the best

Thanks for your reply!
I'm attaching the project as well:So the bevel of the caps, goes in a "weird" direction, not the same on one side as on another
Does that help?
Thanks!

Thanks for the file, J.,
It's so much easier to communicate about it now with the file here.
Please have a look here:
Place the Object under a Null when the top is leveled (not rotated).
Place the FFDeformer under the Loft Object and use the Fit To Parent.
After that, drag the FFD under the Null.
The points can be set to X=2, Y=3 (or 5 perhaps), Z=2
To get a faster redraw, the Loft can be set to 3 and 3 instead of the 100 and 100 Subdivision (U; V)
The FFD can be selected in Point Mode and shape the Object.
Many points can be selected at once. That selection can be stored in a Point Selection Tag for faster re-selection.
At any point the Subdivision UV can be set higher, e.g., 100/100All the best

P.S.: I also explored selecting from the top original Spline three points and set the "Workplane To Selected"; Which made the adjustment of the top area a little bit easier.
