      Hi hang-single,

      The only gradual way, without changing the Material*, would be to set up a second light source and adjust the amount of GI (Details). Whereby the Parts in question are in the Project Exclude List and the "low GI light) in the Include Lists (projects). Please note that you might place some objects into the scene that only cast shadows for the Special GI group. These elements can sit in the window frame, for example.

      To completely shut off GI from an object can be done RS Object Tag> Visibility> Global Illumination> Visible To GI.

      *The simplest way is via Diffuse in the Material, which changes the appearance; I needed to mention it, just in case.
