Hi, Why I'm not able to distribute matrices to the Connect object containing Cloner with splines? I attach c4d file. Temp.c4d

        Hi hang-single,

Thanks for the file. It opens fine in 2024.

In 2023, as in your file, I get only a result if I drag the Cloner directly into the Matrix.

        Do I miss something?

        Cheers

Hi Dr., Thank you for your quick response. Yes, this works with Cloner, but I need to achieve some randomness in the movement of the matrices along the splines with some Rate and Rate variation values across all cloned splines, not just one. A Connect object should help with that. I'm following the video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV5Gx5CFr7k and I'm basically stuck at the beginning around minute five. It works in the video, but not for me. My video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1d5TZ7pPRoI

            Hi hang-single,

Please try this. I would suggest updating it to 2024.

Here is the 2023 file with one more element to make it work.

Side note: When you place a new object in the Object Manager, remember it goes from the top down on each priority level. Placing objects over others that need to provide information might lead to delays.

            Enjoy
