Pyro Emitter>Object Fidelity in help
-
Hi, Is it written in the description of Object Fidelity correctly? I have quite a few problems with the English language, but I think something is wrong here.

Hi hang-single,
Is there perhaps a different language that would work better for you?

Hi Dr.Sassi. I just thought that Object Fidelity was mixed with the Object Voxel Size property in the very first sentences.

Thanks for the reply, hang-single.
Let me try it in my own words, as I have not written that part of the manual.
We talk about two Voxels here. One is for the Pyro Effect, and the other is used to define the shape of the Emitter.
The Pyro Voxels are set in size, and if done well, they are produced to cover the Pyro Results. The emitter shape also needs to be recognized, which is done with Voxels. The size of these Voxels is related to the Pyro Voxels but with an extra parameter.
If the shape is not essential to accurately recognize, then the Fidelity slider can be set to a low value in setups where the Emitter is perhaps not seen at all. A more significant percentage value is needed if the shape is essential for the scene so the Pyro effect looks more connected.
Without the Fidelity slider, the Voxel size would have always been the same as the Pyro Voxel or would need to be set up separately and with each change, perhaps again. The fidelity slider makes this Emitter Voxel relative to the Pyro Voxel.
Sorry that I have a little repetition in my explanation, but I always read a few books about a subject to gain the best results. I hope that works here as well.
Let me know if that helped.
All the best

P.S.: Perhaps this scene helps to clear the influence -
Anyway, Help from Maxon is excellent and I'm glad you've maintained this high standard for years. Thanks for the replies
