Hi, I wanted to ask you whether in the versions to come of Cinema 4D, in addition to having metal-accelerated calculation in redshift, it will be possible to have improved performance of the viewport. As you may know metal engine was made by you and as it stands your software only runs in openGL mode. I was wondering if this would change in the future as is the case with stuff like Blender.

      Hi childhood-nose,

Whatever might come, e.g., for Redshift 3D, could be posted here, as Redshift 3D is typically the main focus when it comes to that theme:

I have never discussed here what will come in the future, as I have signed an NDA in 2006, and I keep it that way.
      Sorry.
Perhaps the tech support can help you if there is any problem with your current setup.
