      Hello everyone,

I am currently animating a blue ribbon using a spline with sweep + tracer. I am using a fabric material which creates folds. It actually works quite well, but in the render I keep getting a lot of thin, vertical lines, i.e. errors. Can anyone tell me how I can remove these or what the problem is?

I would be very grateful for your help!

        Hi Florian,

Thanks for the link, but for security reasons, I use nothing besides Dropbox, Google, Adobe, Apple, or Wetransfer. Sorry about that!

If you have any options for using one of these cloud services, please do so. I can set up an upload link if needed.

        All the best

Thank you very much for your answer Dr Sassi. I have now simplified my animation, or rather made it differently so that the error in the texture no longer appears.

For the next question I will use a different service to upload a screenshot.

            Hi Florian,

            Thank you for your reply.

If possible, please project files; images are very limited in information and more of an additional help. Over the past two decades, it has shown clearly whether a file works (except the problem is outside of the file, e.g., hardware problems…)

Project files as ".c4d" can be uploaded directly (below 1MB, and images with a height of max 500 pixels)

            My best wishes
