I have also tried a third way by setting up a collision for the Parent Object Rock with a specific object Plane. And tried connecting the Collision with either the On or Enabled and tried with both the Rigid Body on the Voronoi and the Voronoi object, but niether worked.

RE: 2024 Voronoi Fracture with Fields
I just found the Glue function and tried applying a falloff with the Linear Field.
The object is staying glued together but when going through the Linear Field it doesn't break apart. -
2024 Voronoi Fracture with Fields
I am trying to have an object be a rigid body (new unified system) and be able to bounce around as one piece and then at a certain point to fracture.
I tried setting it up with a Voronoi Fracture and a Rigid tag and adding a Connector> Fixed. However, increasing the Force and the Torque does nothing (this does work with the Bullet System). Then I was thinking if the Voronoi rigid object could stay together until it passes through a Field which would trigger the fracture but not sure how to set that up. I had seen some videos using a Mograph Selector but it doesn't seem to work with the new dynamic system.
Here is a simplified version of the scene:

2024 Rigid Bodies Grouped
Hi,
With the Bullet Rigid Body dynamics I was able to parent a number of objects under a Null; apply a Rigid tag to the Null object and make all of the children dynamic. This doesn't work with 2024. Is this not possible with the new rigid dynamics system or am I missing something?
Thanks,

RE: C4D File size limit?
Thank you for the super quick reply.
Wow 23 gigs - that's crazy huge. I have students on both Mac and PC. I am guessing if a 4.5 gig file can't be opened it is a limitation of the students RAM.
Great to know, thanks again. -
RE: How to get eyelids to follow the eye direction
This looks like a great solution.
I have been using a Cluster added to the lid geometry that has a constraint on it to follow the eye control and gives a very similar look.

C4D File size limit?
Hi, is there a limit to how large a C4D file can be? I know in older versions there was a 2 gig limit, where if the file size was over 2 gigs, it could not be opened by C4D.
Is this still true for 2023 or 2024 version?
Thanks,

RE: Magnify Viewport with Redshift background
I just hacked through the math, I think good enough to get it to work in my scene. Thank you again - great solution and Xpresso makes it so much easier.
Still just curious about the Film Move and Zoom tool - gettting back to original view. After looking at the docs - looks like the Film Zoom is automatically adjusting the focal length and field of view. I could get back to the original view returning my focal length back to 21mm. However, if I use the Film Move tool, I don't see a corresponding value to change to get back to the original view as with the Film Zoom.

RE: Magnify Viewport with Redshift background
Fantastic, thanks so much. Looks like it could work. I created an xpresso script to automatically adjust the size of the plane based on the distance from the camera. I just need to recreate in my scene. I am using a 21mm focal length so I will need to make some adjustements.
One additional question: If I am making moves with the Film Zoom and Move, is there a command to get a back to my original zoom level, my original view from the camera?

Magnify Viewport with Redshift background
Hi, I am creating a 3D modification to a room using a photograph through the Background tab in a Redshift camera. I need more clarification to line up 3D objects to objects in the room. Is there a way to zoom into the viewport without moving the camera? To be able to increase the size of the viewport larger than 100%?
I tried using the Viewport> View> Film Magnify and Film Zoom but the background in the Redshift camera is not adjusted along with the scene.
Thanks,
Dan
