I have a model exported from Revit where I'm unable to align the axis correctly with each object. I normally have to adjust the axis is some way, normally on the Y.

In this case, if I try to align the axis to object it won't be correct or sometimes won't align at all. If I try to align to a polygon normal it still won't align correct, often rotated in some way.

If I delete a polygon, recreate it and then use the axis center again it mostly works.

Is this somehow a Normal issue?

        Hi smckenzie,

Depending on the format, you can swap the Z with the Y axis (+ or -) during the Import.
This should work. I have no data on what format you use to write it from Revit.
My best guess would be DXF or FBX

If you use FBX, you can define the vertical axis during Import. Since I do not know what you have, you could try Z, perhaps.
        Here is your file back.
I used the Axis Tool and then moved all axes to its center (Enable Axis Modification [L]).

I have not aligned the rotation of the house, as that might be based on context.

If you have a direct export from Revit, I'm happy to look into it.

        All the best
