    Hello

I have a very simple outline shape that I would like to animate moving and changing colour very much like the Blend tool in Illustrator. So I have the shape at one in a particular colour, and say maybe 50 steps to the same shape at the end changing to another colour. I'd like to animate both ends position. Is Trapcode Mir the right tool for this task? Many thanks.

    Kind Regards
    David

      Hi David,

When you write simple shapes, could it be as simple as Red Giant Tao allows? While using the Second Repeater to utilize a Color Gradient image?

      As a side note:
I tend to use Cinema 4D and set those things up with MoGraph. In Ae, I use Cineware to open those. I have used Cinema 4D and Ae both for around 28 years, but when it comes to 3D…
With that excuse being said, please allow me to share this file; it blends as well the shape as Illustrator offers it.
As you can see, it opens in Cineware.

Please let me know if that helped.

        Hi Dr Sassi,

I haven't used Tao yet but I gave it a look and it looks a great tool to consider for future projects. In the brief time I had to do this project, I couldn't quite see how I could figure out how I could do what I needed so I headed back into C4D. I realised I could do what I wanted with a cloner and then I used a field to move through the clones changing them as I wanted as the field moved through them. I got exactly what I needed this way šŸ‘

        Kind Regards
        David
