While working in C4D 2024, all of sudden whenever I select an object (in object mode) all of the faces become highlighted, regardless of whether or not I'm in 'face' mode.

In 2023, I don't have this issue. Wondering if I accidentally pressed some combination of keys that has enabled a visualization setting? If not, how can I go about reverting back to 'normal' behavior?

      Here's a link to a screen capture: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rufxcwrt9q55phwhhekx3/2024-08-06-14-50-57.mp4?rlkey=sdjhyrtti4p22g06wdnxdz5qo&dl=0

The window on the left is 2023, the window on the right is 2024.

      Very strange!!

Got it sorted! I did indeed mash some combination of keys on my keyboard that toggled on a viewport display setting.

For anyone else that stumbles across this post (though I realize the title of this particular post is not the most self-evident), the solution I found was to go to...

Edit > Preferences > Viewport Display > Object Selection > unchecking 'Wireframe'
