Motion Clip Blend With Retargeted Character Issue
-
Okay so ive been stuck on this all day trying to find a fix and i bet its more simple then im making it so i ask my fellow Artist does anyone know why my retargeted character wont follow the animation path its targeted too? basically as you can see in the gif the retargeted character jumps back to the second animations original axis point even though as you can see i moved the animation to line up with the other hence the pivot point in the center and why the default model keeps running straight any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi leather-watch,
Please use the Q&A forum, this is the site issue and not supposed to be use. If you can't log in, the site issue forum is the place to go.
Thank you.Something seems off with the clip blending.
This needs to have a Pivot.
https://help.maxon.net/c4d/2024/en-us/Default.htm#html/OPIVOT.html#PLUGIN_CMD_100004839There is an option to create a Pivot in the Attribute Manager near the Clip entry, but I'm not happy with it.
Call up from the Main Menu> Animation> Pivot and add it manually; it always feels slightly cleaner. But explore both, of course.https://cineversity.maxon.net/en/tutorials/motion-capture-workflows-in-cinema-4d-motion-clip-system-part-1
Start at 11:30 for the Pivot explaination, but as suggested, while I have no data from you, use the solution at 12:30Typically, I ask for a File to see exactly what is happening; I'm not happy to assume or answer from memory. I prefer that over images or screen captures, as they provide little information to solve a problem. Things also change, and the memory content might not keep up. ;-)Thank you. So, I hope this works for you; if not, please let me know.
Have a nice Sunday Evening.
