Issue with plain effector
-
I have several effectors causing atoms on a DNA molecule to scale up and assemble into the molecule. The one that appears to be having issues is the plain effector with a uniform scale value of -1. The atoms keep popping between one scale size and another randomly. Anyone know what's causing this? Luckily this is just a personal project.
I am running this in Cinema 4D 2025.0.0
Computer Specs:
Windows 11
Geforce RTX 4080
Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900F CPU @ 2.80GHz, 2808 Mhz, 10 Core(s), 20 Logical Processor(s) with 32 GB RamHere's the issue in render (still working on the camera movement and texturing):

Hi Motion_Shane,
Thanks for the videos, but that does not give me much to work with. I can't see what is set up (Yes, I see a few objects, but how and what is set up is rather hidden); to see the Object Manager doesn't show me a lot of what goes where.
I could write a long list of guesses here, but typically, that is not working either.
Instead of -1, try to work with visibility. Anyway, shut off all effectors, then switch them on in the way they affect the Clones as you have listed them inside the Cloner. The Delay might be it or the Wind, but the jumping feels like a chain reaction of the things before it. At the same time, perhaps the position of object manager alone causes priority problems (I can't see anything of that in the videos, so please don't invest time in another video). I work with files, reduced to the problem, standard practice.Perhaps Cache the file, and see if it persist. Guessing, I know, not really the way…
If you share more than 1MB, the ".c4d" file will not load here, so please only use Dropbox, Google, Adobe, Apple, or Wetransfer for cloud services. Please do not use zipped files or Tiny URLs. Thank you. It is just a safety measure, and I will not move away. Thanks for understanding.
I hope we can find the problem or a better way to produce the animation.
Cheers
