Hello, how can I make the outline appear from left to right, for example with a ramp that is connected to opacity? Thank you

        Hi cyrilrueg,

        Thanks for the file.

The Ramp needs some orientation, with a UV map, for example. I used a Flat Projection and Generated UV coordinates in the file below.
Object Manager> Tags> Generate UVW Coordinates.

I have plugged the Ramp into the Thickness Modifier and Opacity.

        Is that what you need?

        Cheers

          Hi Dr. Sassi,

Thank you for you answer. It helps me yes. Is there a simple way to animate the gradient, with offset for exemple?

            Hi cyrilueg,

There is no Ramp Offset, AFAIK.

A simple way would be to use a flat projection and offset this. How does it affect anything else in the object? This needs to be explored in the target scene.

(Press play while the RS Render view is active.)
            .
The Gradients of the Ramp can be animated with the Color Knot, which is rather laborious.

More complex would be using Pose Morph and animating the UV, which also needs to be seen in how it will affect other parts.

            All the best
