      I'm trying to render out sketch and toon into separate passes like color, shadow, and line art through Redshift, using its toon shader. For some reason, I've managed to render out a separate pass, but no matter what I do, it's all black. It's obvious to me that I'm doing something wrong. Should I set some custom AOVs? Any advice?

        Hi draft-buddy,

        I have explored it in the past hours, along with a few versions, and I can confirm the problem. I will write a report.

        Besides tedious separate renderings, I have no workaround.

          Thank you. Your answer is a blessing. For now, all I know is that it's an issue with the software. The clunky solution for now is to render the shading and contours in separate passes by switching materials. This doubles the render time and is a messy workaround, but it's a temporary solution, I hope. Thank you again for your answer.
