    Hi all,

I've been using the new simulations system in C4D ![simulations.jpg](Image dimensions are too big) 2024. I setup up a simple particle system and in the RS tag that I placed on the particle group I have changed the particles to custom objects which are these discs. However they seem to not hit the floor entirely disc.c4d-error as you can see in the render view. Can anyone please advise what I may be missing?

I've attached a screen shot that show the issue along with the project file . Any or advice appreciated.

    Thanks
    Vijay

      Hi Vijay,

The particles have only one idea of size, and that is a "spherical" dimension. (Particle> Properties> Radius).
If you use the RS Object, then this information from the particles are used to fake the objects' dynamic. In fact, you can use any object, any size and shape, but it would not change the position of motion of the result.

For that you need a Simulation based and on an per object evaluation of the whole project, for their dynamic based parts.

      Please compare the two examples:

As a site note, ".c4d" files can have only a mx size of 1MB, saving it on frame zero often helps to keep the file size smal. Images can be posted here with a max height of 500 pixel.

        Hi Dr Sassi,

I understand now. The method I was using was faking the discs as opposed to really simulating the objects. Thank you for advising, really appreciated.

        Thanks
        Vijay
