hi, Im exploring redshift shader nodes, I was looking for a texture that can make sort of ¨spots¨ mapped in a circular way. I tryied with distorted node but couldn't find a way.

for example, if I wanna recreate the greener parts of inside this kiwi.. how should I do it?

so far I've got this.. but I want to insert drops in each tile of the radial tile texture.

      thanks!!

        Hi Sofi Tau,

Spots in a circular way. Would that help to get closer?

Perhaps explore the Tile Shader> U Scale, for less stretched and more round shapes.

The UV Project Node, U Angle to adjust the amount.

            Hi Sofi Tau,

Thank you so much. I didn't know that before you asked. I explored a few options and shared them.

I know your target is shader exploration and not texturing with images, correct?

Not to my knowledge, but what I could suggest would be this two-part show
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1QAN4Ewe_Y
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVDxUtt-B4Q

I hope it shows some ways, even though I think the central part in these two shows was perception training, which you obviously do not need 🙂

I have done this for both timestamps, so it is perhaps easier to search if something interests you. I hope you enjoy it as brainstorming.

            Cheers

Just a little bit Noise (Ramp). No idea if that fits to your target.
