Scene Particle Count

Hi Dr Sassi, this might be a dumb question, but is there a way to see the total particle count in my scene with the new particle system?

I'm guessing I have way too many particles because it keeps freezing up but I cant figure out how to show this, nothing in HUD settings as far as I can see.

Hi Maverick Mongoose,

Go into Point Mode and click on the Group (the folder icon) to get the Point number shown in the upper left corner of the editor view.

If you like to have many groups at once calculated, here are three options:
• Select all the groups
• Use a Selection Object with the Groups in the list
• Place all Groups into a Multi Group, select the Multi Group Folder

I'm not aware that there is a default way to get a total number into the HUD.
