      Hi 🙂
Can i modify the polygon index of a 3D mesh? i mean, can i replace the 5 by the 8 or change the order for example?
There are tools to do it on splines, i don't see similar tools for polygons.

      Thanks

        Hi Pitchi,

        That would be the
Main Menu> Windows> Structure Manager: Set to Polygon mode. Then, you drag the polygon entry to a new index 'line". There is no swap two polygons command, though. So you might drag one to a new position, which will change all numbers below the new or old (whichever was higher). Use the
Editor View> Options> Polygon Index to see what happens. Do you actually have the desired sorting? Check after a swap.

The easier (?) way might be to use the Export Ascii option in the Structure Manager and use a text editor (do that with a copy of the file).
