    Hi

Is there a way to turn off multiple objects in a scene in one go? I have some products that are often rendered with and without associated accessories. I render out the scene with the full setup and then I create a render with the accessories hidden. When I want to render the product on its own I have to turn off all those little green lights on the objects I want to hide but sometime there can be quite a number. I've tried putting all the objects I want to hide in a null so I could just turn the green light off on that but it didn't work.

    Kind regards
    David

      Hi David,

Please look into Takes and/or Layers for that kind of management.

      Takes

      Layers
      https://help.maxon.net/c4d/2025/en-us/Default.htm#html/11074.html#DIALOG_LAYERMANAGER

The simplest way is often to group those and switch only the "Parent" to the state in which the group is supposed to behave, as you wrote. Why it is not working? Do you have an example.

      All the best

        Hi Dr Sassi,

Thanks very much for this, the layers do exactly what I want 😃 I didn't know about layers before, I'll be making good use of these from now on 😉

        Kind Regards
        David
