      Hello,
I am trying to animate a logo, which features a name written in wooden toy blocks.
I have got some logo tests done, but not one I am 100% happy with.

I have animated the blocks/bricks falling in front of the main logo and forming a name below it.

I have tried using effectors with rotation and delay, with spring effector, but I dont think the overshoot makes it look like blocks/bricks animating correctly.
I have tried physics, but no luck, too unpredictable.

And Ive hand animated, but still not as good as it potentially could be.

The logo layout needs to be exactly the same as the flat version, so I am bound by restrictions.

      Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

        Hi tie-version,

Here are two suggestions, whereby the first also creates the base for the second.

Create a Simulation, while the cube's start position is the final position, with some "obstacles" in the air, the fall becomes more interesting. The Gravity Force might be set twice to overcome the scene's Gravity.

        Cache the Simulation Scene.
Then select the Cubes and Bake as Alembic.
        Switch the Simulation Group off.
Now, create with the Retiming feature, where each cube has a reverse effect. This can be done for all at once in the same way (if all are selected) or for each cube individually.

Since they were lifted, they miss the bounce of a landing, that is the little curve on the right end. The long straight one is not physically plausible, but that is the part mostly out of the frame, I assume. After all we talk about visual expression here, correct?

The second version has harvested four positions of the group; the Rigid body is no longer needed here. With a Cloner and one Clone as outcome, while set to blend, the Palin Effector (position is off) can now, with the "Modify Clones" move the Cubes with a single slider.

Both are in the link below

Please let me know if there are any questions.
