I understand how the file above works, but how would I get it to ripple inwards based on a bespoke shape?

RE: Footprint puddle ripple animation
Thank you,
I am trying to recreate a Jurassic Park style ripple effect within a footprint. Any large shoe print should work as reference.
In Jurassic park, the Trex impact causes ripples to happen from the outside to the centre.I've tried to get this using collision deformers, with a curve. I am getting something that would work as a result of an object being dropped into a liquid. But nothing shockwave wise. I will try you method above.

Footprint puddle ripple animation
Hello,
I am trying to figure out the best way to create a bespoke ripple in a footprint shaped puddle. The ripple is caused by an impact elsewhere in the scene, rather than a droplet of water, so the ripple needs to come from the edge of the footprint.
I have tried a few options, including using formulas and deformers with different fields.
I will continue to try different options, but advice and what everyone thinks are the best practices for this would be great to hear.

C4D Splash Art Direction
Hi I have been given this reference image for a splash animation.
I had planned to use x-particles, but it is quite complex. As you can see from the image, a character falls into a body of water, causing a splash, which needs to have the cavity and then secondary "bloop" of the cavity coming together.
What is the best way to achieve this in the most simple and art directable way? -

This is as a result of using the vector with extrusions

RE: Vector x Bevel issues
Twitch influencer wants 3D logo based on the above, with a different icon, and this font. Which only exists as a vector.

This is the level of detail the logo has.

RE: Vector x Bevel issues
Unfortunately, I am unable to share the logo as it is under NDA.
At the moment, I am using a remesher to take the geometry from the extruder, and add the extrusion and bevel once I have a mesh created.
Does that make sense? -

Examples of the tessellation issues. This is using NGons
