      Hi all,
What is the best way for a cloth simulation to follow a circular path with turbulence force? Any suggestion/help will be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,
      Hoi

        Hi Hoi,

        Please have a look here:

I would suggest caching the Cloth.
Please note that I have set the Gravity to zero.
There are many ways to do it, but I hope the scene's elements help shape the illusion.

(The simple version would be to use a Belt and animate a collider object as the "belt".)

        Enjoy

          Hi Dr. Sassi,

Thank you for the file and suggestion. Never knew you can change volume builder to vector and use it as a field. That will open a lot more experimentation. As for this example,
I end up exporting the cloth as alembic with turbulence and, align to spline the alembic cloth to travel in a circle path.

            You're very welcome, practice-boss.

Yes, there are many ways to do it, and Forces are just one of the powerful options.

            Enjoy
