Hi, I’m having an issue where pyro will render in IPR but not when I render. I’ve cached my simulation added my pyro volume tested it in IPR render and it all looks fine. As soon as I submit the render nothing shows up.

      Am I missing something?

        Hi turn-shape,

I'm sure you are aware of this:

I can't reproduce this; no file. So I can only ask questions (not the best way to solve problems, project files are.) or suggest using Tech Support.

Have you checked to use the Volume if all the data is available?
Using the Volume Loader or the RS Loader, while also checking the Material settings, which channel is used here, might help.

I hope Tech Support will tell you what is going on.

If you have a zip file, please attach it here (not the cache, or use Dropbox, Google, Apple, Adobe, or Wetransfer as a cloud service. Please, no other cloud stuff or shortened URLs. Thank you.

        All the best

@Dr-Sassi thanks for the response. i solved the issues, we’ll kind of. I copied the objects into a new scene and recreated the simulation. It rendered out just fine. I think the issue stems from upgrading my original scene. The original scene had an older version of redshift that didn’t have the pyro volume. For some reason even though I upgraded redshift it would lose the folder link to my cache file during a local render but would keep the link during an IPR.

Sometimes my job is 20% making everything and 80% figuring out the last step that should work but doesn’t.

Yes, turn-shape, I know, it should be more 80 to 20, right?

            I'm glad you found it.

My best wishes for your project!
