I was watching the "Walking Through Fields: Triggering Animation:" but its totally different in R2023.
I tried the cloth in Mograph Cloner but it doesn't work. -

As for those earlier released tutorials, you must use the Legacy Solver options in the Cloth Sim. (I haven't tested it this way, though.)
