I have had this issue ever since I started using C4D 15 yrs ago but I have never found a solution.

If I use an emitter to spawn objects with a rigid body tag, and set the emitter speed to zero ... the destruction modifier has no effect on particles. However, if I set a speed on the emitter the destruction modifier then works.

Obviously in both instances, the emitter objects are affected by gravity and pass through the modifier, but it only works where speed is set as well.

Does anyone have an explanation for this or even better a solution to make it work?

      TIA - Mick

And the form ONLY lets me select "Site Issues" for the category ... so apologies in advance if it goes in the wrong spot.

        Hi Heathenlamb,

Sorry about your troubles with the Access here. I hope it will be cleared this coming week.

Please, can you share a simple file? Here as c4d max 1MB (or please as Dropbox, Adobe, Apple, Wetransfer, or Google Cloud services. I do not touch other options here).

        All the best

Thanks Dr Sassi. Looks like my account issues have been resolved. Also I have actually worked out why it doesn't work rubber ducking for the win.
